Sample Questions and Tools For Personal Interviews

Below are suggested tools and questions for any interviews you conduct or as you share your personal stories.

You can use these questions exactly if you'd like or use them as a guideline to develop your own story.

Please try and keep the videos under two minutes. (The longer they are, the less likely people will watch all the way through!)

Suggested tools to use to capture the video:

  • Video Camera
  • Cell Phone with video recording ability.
  • Your personal computer. Set your interview subject or yourself in front of the camera on your computer. Make sure the mic is close enough to make sure sound is audible.

Sample Questions:

3) Do you know the positions of your representatives in DC on health care or insurance reform? What do you want your Congressional representatives to do in the fight for health care reform?

4) Is health care a right, or a privilege? Why is it a right/privilege? If it's a right, what should we trade off to ensure everyone has health care? If it's a privilege how should we determine who gets health care?
